Ferrellgas, Mansfield partner on autogas

Ferrellgas Partners LP formed an alliance with Mansfield Oil Co. to market propane autogas to fleets across North America. Mansfield will offer Ferrellgas customers access to Mansfield’s services, which include transportation fuel management programs that are designed to move customers from gas or diesel to propane. Ferrellgas Partners LP acquired Country Boys Gas, an independent propane retailer based in Commerce, Ga. According to Ferrellgas, this is the company’s third acquisition in its fiscal year that began Aug. 1, 2013. Ferrellgas says it is contesting citations totaling $73,000 levied by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) following a 2013 explosion at the company’s Blue Rhino propane tank production facility in Tavares, Fla.
