ADD Systems’ VP of product strategy retires

Advanced Digital Data Inc.’s (ADD Systems) John Redmond, who has served as the company’s vice president of product strategy since 2002, retired.

Redmond began his career in the energy distribution industry as a service dispatcher for Commander Oil. Following this job, he took on a customer service role at Tymshare, a software provider for energy distribution companies. Following this position, Redmond served as a support representative and customer service manager at ICC. He also worked as a data center manager at Meenan Oil and a national support manager at PSS.

Following his position at PSS, Redmond took on a sales position at ADD Systems. Throughout his 29-year career at ADD Systems, he served as a Southeast sales representative, installer and trainer, major account representative, software applications specialist and VP of product strategy.

“I’m definitely going to miss the strategizing and the challenges, and especially the ADD Systems family, but I’m looking forward to the adventures ahead,” Redmond says.
