Alliance AutoGas customer receives award at BusCon

September 22, 2017 By

Northeast Tennessee Rural Public Transportation (NET Trans), an Alliance AutoGas customer, was awarded the Propane AutoGas Fleet Award from the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) at BusCon in Indianapolis.

In 2016, NET Trans implemented a bi-fuel pilot program that started with six vehicles. The fleet has now expanded to 21 vehicles. The award recognizes NET Trans’ strong commitment and successful transition to propane use in its fleet.

NET Trans is  a regional public transit system serving Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington counties in the northeast region of Tennessee, along with urbanized areas outside the city limits of Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee.
