Ted Olsen, right, Arro Autogas’ market manager, accepts an award for his company’s sustainability efforts from Robert Brown, the Great Lakes sales manager for Green Fleet magazine.

Arro Autogas, a division of propane marketer Delta Liquid Energy, won the 2015 Green Sustainability Award at the Fleet Technology Expo in Long Beach, Calif.

The company won the award in part for its efforts to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. According to the company, it reduced fuel emissions by 30 percent with 55 percent of its fleet running on propane autogas. Additionally, Arro Autogas and Delta Liquid Energy began a recycling program at their nine branch locations, where blue recycle bins were made available at every desk.

Winners were selected based on longevity, accomplishments, innovation and industry involvement.

The Fleet Technology Expo gathers fleet management professionals from across the nation.
