BASE Engineering appoints Mark Straka as a vice president for the company

BASE Engineering appointed Mark Straka as its new vice president for BASE Engineering USA Corp.

As a vice president, Straka will be responsible for the company’s U.S. sales and operations. BASE Engineering says he will also assist with the company’s global expansion.

“With his entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for innovative thinking, Mark Straka will become a thriving member of the BASE team and undoubtedly help to bring the company to new heights,” says Steve Belyea, the company’s president, in a press release.

Straka has more than 23 years of experience in the propane industry. In the past, Straka worked for Liquid Controls as its Northeast regional manager and for FMC Technologies as its marketing manager. Straka has expertise in measurement, mobile technology, automation and system integration, BASE Engineering adds.
