Bergquist updates online storefront

May 8, 2018 By

Bergquist updated its online storefront, improving on user experience, simplifying transactions and increasing access to the product catalog.

“We used feedback from our customers to improve the layout and experience,” says Don Montroy, director of marketing for Bergquist. “Our customers are the most important part of our business so using their input to update our online storefront design is the best way to ensure they enjoy the experience, making it quick and easy for them to find and order what they need.”

The company says items can be searched using a key word or part number. Also, product photos are available to ensure correct product selection, and customers can now review products in an updated checkout process. The site integrates with the company website and now looks more like an online retail store and less like a catalogue, Bergquist says.

Payments and invoicing features remain the same on the app, according to the company. Customers can find their account summary, order history and invoices the same way they did before the redesign.

“We’re eager for feedback from our customers on the redesign,” Montroy says. “Since we launched the online storefront 10 years ago, we’ve been collecting feedback to perfect this system and hope this refresh satisfies most, if not all, of those requests.”
