CARB certifies Roush retrofits for Ford fleet vehicles

January 13, 2015 By

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified all Roush CleanTech retrofits for its Ford 6.8-liter fleet vehicles built between 2012 and 2015. Roush said that these vehicles, which include the Ford E-450, F-450, F-550, F-650, F-53 and F-59, could be converted to run on propane autogas in all 50 states.

Roush reported that it is the first company to receive this certification for propane autogas. Todd Mouw, vice president of sales and marketing for the company, said he has seen increased demand for propane-powered, medium-duty trucks. He explained that Roush CleanTech’s CARB-certified vehicles could fit that demand.
