CARB extends deadline on forklift regulations

The California Air Resources Board will not enforce large-spark ignited regulations and emissions requirements for forklifts until April 1, giving fleets additional time to comply. The original deadline was Jan. 1. The rule requires fleets to meet average emission targets by purchasing new, cleaner forklifts; retrofitting older forklifts; or replacing forklift engines.
