Chesapeake Utilities appoints executives

Chesapeake Utilities Corp. promoted Andy Hesson to assistant vice president of Sharp Energy, the company’s non-regulated propane distribution company.

Hesson formerly served as Sharp Energy’s director of operations, where he grew the customer base to 38,000 and expanded the service territory to two new locations, according to the company. The company also notes Hesson’s commitment to community-based programs such as breast cancer awareness and the Walk for Autism. Prior to joining Sharp Energy, Hesson served as the vice president of Inergy LLC’s Ohio division.

Chesapeake Utilities also made the following executive appointments:

  • Lou Anatrella joined Chesapeake Utilities as its chief human resources officer.
  • Aleida Socarrás has been promoted from assistant vice president of marketing & energy logistics for Florida Public Utilities Co. to vice president of Chesapeake Utilities.
  • Tom Mahn is now vice president of Chesapeake Utilities and will continue to serve as treasurer and head of the finance department.
  • Al Gallo has been promoted from managing director of PESCO, the company’s non-regulated marketing business, to assistant vice president of PESCO.
