Chief marketing officer position created at PERC

September 3, 2015 By

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) created a chief marketing officer (CMO) position and hired Dennis Vegas to fill that role.

According to PERC, Vegas most recently served as CMO for Americans for Prosperity and its related foundations. He previously held communications and marketing positions at AT&T, Acclaim Energy Advisors, MRI, Enron and ITT.

“The CMO position was created to help the council be more effective and efficient in carrying out our newly unrestricted consumer awareness outreach,” says Roy Willis, PERC president and CEO. “Dennis Vegas brings experience in quantitative and qualitative research, and he has created marketing campaigns both to educate consumers and to introduce new products and services.”
