Companies to promote autogas at The Work Truck Show
Several companies plan to showcase propane autogas technologies during the National Truck Equipment Association’s The Work Truck Show March 1-4 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) and CleanFuel USA will display a PRO 6100 autogas refueling dispenser at their booths during the show. PERC also plans to showcase a Westport Ford 5.0-liter F-150 truck with a CleanFuel USA liquid propane injection system.
According to a show press release, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. will host a ride-and-drive event outside the convention center for show attendees. The company will let attendees ride or drive a Freightliner S2G propane-powered medium-duty truck, equipped with a linebacker crane body and CleanFuel USA’s liquid propane injection system. The truck will also be viewable at Freightliner’s booth.
Additionally, Jay Massey, a corporate fleet manager with AmeriGas, will participate in a panel session alongside other autogas users March 2. Massey will share some of the benefits of autogas through his experience in using Freightliner’s S2G trucks.
