Construction underway on Blossman autogas center

December 6, 2013 By

Blossman Services Inc. (BSI) began construction on a propane autogas research and technology center in Asheville, N.C. The Autogas Research and Technology Center, as the facility is being named, is expected to open next spring.

According to BSI, the facility will focus on autogas system testing and development. BSI will also provide vehicle technician training there.

“The Autogas Research and Technology Center is really another great step forward for Alliance Autogas and Prins,” says Bart van Aerle, CEO of Prins, which awarded Alliance AutoGas, through BSI, U.S. distribution rights to its autogas technologies in January 2013. “It gives the organization the ability to implement new technologies faster, therewith bringing new [Environmental Protection Agency]-certified applications to the U.S. market more quickly.”
