Crestwood Equity Partners LP plans to donate $125,000 to support the Hurricane Harvey relief effort in southeast Texas.

According to the company, this donation will earmark $100,000 to the Red Cross of Greater Houston and $25,000 for the relief effort in Matagorda County. The company will also match employee donations up to $2,500 through its employee match gift program.

Crestwood’s Houston office will remain closed through the end of the week to ensure the safety of its employees, the company adds. It’s currently working on assessing potential impacts of the storm to its employees, facilities and operations.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with our neighbors who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area and beyond,” says Robert Phillips, chairman, president and CEO of Crestwood. “As members of the Houston community, with over 150 employees in the area, I am proud to support the relief efforts and southeast Texas as it works to rebuild after this devastating storm. In addition to our commitment to operational safety, regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship, Crestwood believes in supporting the communities where our employees live and work, and I am honored to continue that tradition through our donation to the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.”
