Dead River Co. acquires Ryezak Oil Co.

January 16, 2018 By

Dead River Co. purchased Ryezak Oil Co., a company based in Rumney, New Hampshire.

Ryezak Oil, owned by Bob and Terry Comeau since 1990, serves customers in western New Hampshire’s Grafton County. This purchase comes on the heels of Dead River acquiring Breggy Oil Services.

“We are actively looking to expand our business through acquisitions in New England and the surrounding areas,” says Deanna Sherman, president and CEO of Dead River Co. “With this acquisition, we are once again bringing in a company whose values and staff commitment to service mirror our own. The Comeaus have set a high standard for their customers and we’re delighted that Bob and Roger Comeau will be staying on board.”

Bob Comeau says Dead River is trusted to keep its customers safe and warm, providing peace of mind in its services.

“The bonds and friendships we have formed over the years mean a great deal to us,” Comeau says. “It was important to find a company with a reputation for putting customers and community first.”

Dead River looks to keep its local roots in mind with the company’s acquisitions.

“We are a 108-year-old family-run business,” Sherman says. “By maintaining locally operated offices across our New England footprint, we get to know our customers and the communities we serve. That’s how we maintain our reputation for being trustworthy, reliable and above all, focused on people.”
