Enterprise Products Partners executive receives award

Midstream Business awarded Enterprise Products Partners LP’s Jim Teague, CEO of Enterprise’s general partner, with its executive of the year award at the Midstream Business of Excellence Awards.

Midstream Business presented the award as part of the three-day Texas Midstream Conference, during which Teague delivered the keynote address. According to Enterprise, event organizers focus on leadership that leads to significant growth or transformational positive change for a company or industry when selecting a recipient for the award.

Teague was elected CEO of Enterprise’s general partner on Jan. 1, 2016. He previously served as its COO from 2010 to 2015, and he started with the company in 1999 as an executive vice president.

“Jim has been instrumental in guiding Enterprise over the past 17 years,” says Randa Duncan Williams, chairman of the board of Enterprise’s general partner. “He was a visionary in recognizing the benefits of new supplies of natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil from shale developments to the domestic petrochemical industry, as well as the need for U.S. producers to have water access to international markets for their growing production.

“Jim was integral to our success in a challenging 2015 as we successfully began operations at newly constructed facilities, developed additional organic growth projects and executed on day-to-day opportunities,” Williams adds.

Enterprise Products Partners LP is a publicly traded partnership and a provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals.
