The 2018 AEGPL Congress drew over 100 companies and about 1,000 participants to the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The AEGPL Congress is hosted by the European LPG Association (AEGPL).

The AEGPL chose Monaco as the host because the principality is becoming known as a green hub, leading international efforts in promoting environmental solutions and a live lab for sustainable initiatives. The association adds the LPG industry is taking a similar path, currently investing in sustainable solutions that make a difference in people’s lives while actively contributing to a cleaner world.

In addition to the exhibition, participants attended a two-day high-level conference.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the conference’s opening ceremony. Congress delegates engaged in sessions to learn about the challenging subjects for the sector from experts, policymakers and industry representatives. Additionally, panels on policy and innovation; the multiple uses of LPG; and market trends were held. Social events and a gala dinner at the Monaco Yacht Club rounded out the two-day event.

The 2019 AEGPL Congress will take place in Amsterdam.
