Facilitator chosen for NPGA’s Benchmarking Council

Dan Binning, Kiva Energy’s territory manager for the Rocky Mountain region, was selected as a facilitator for the National Propane Gas Association’s (NPGA) Benchmarking Council, the association announced. Facilitators are responsible for managing Benchmarking group activities, including coordinating discussion agendas, management of session discussions, project data collection and follow-up after each session. Binning is a propane industry veteran, including management positions with Petrolane, Ferrellgas, All Star Gas and AmeriGas. Binning’s association involvement includes Western Propane Gas Association past chairman, as well as positions on NPGA’s board of directors, executive committee, governmental affairs committee and conventions committee. Binning currently serves as chairman of the Colorado Propane Gas Association Autogas Committee. Since 1996, the Benchmarking Council has provided opportunities for retail propane marketers to compare and benchmark business practices with other marketers.
