Filler valve cap lock protects against unauthorized suppliers

Lock America has added to its propane industry security line with a filler valve cap lock, which secures a propane tank to prevent a customer from using an unauthorized propane supplier. Combined with the company’s POLock, a supplier can now securely lock and tag a tank to ensure that a customer uses only its product. The filler valve cap features a hardened steel shield to prevent tampering and unauthorized filling of a customer’s tank. The filler valve cap offers other key features: each propane dealer has his own registered key; the product can be keyed to match an existing customer’s POLock or padlocks; and it offers more than 60,000 useable key codes.
