Gas detection company releases educational blog

Industrial Scientific Corp., a provider of gas detection products, debuted The Monitor, a blog focused on gas detection education, industry trends and new technologies.

The Monitor is an expansion of Industrial Scientific’s AskDave blog, which launched in July 2011. The blog comes with a new look and features articles from a range of gas detection experts. Readers can subscribe to the blog’s newsletters and receive a monthly roundup of articles. The blog also allows readers to submit questions on gas detection.

According to Industrial Scientific, the blog will be an easy-to-use reference tool. It will provide readers with short articles that answer readers’ gas detection questions, provide best practices and inform readers about new products to boost safety.

“We know most people who are required to use gas detectors are experts in other areas,” says Justin McElhattan, president and CEO of Industrial Scientific. “We want to make learning the basics of gas detection as simple and convenient as possible.”
