Global Tank Truck Conference to debut in October

July 28, 2016 By

The first Global Tank Truck Conference, scheduled for Oct. 6-8 at the Grandover Resort and Conference Center in Greensboro, N.C., will bring together owners and managers in the propane, refined fuel, portable restroom, vacuum and septic pumping industries to share ideas on business growth and diversification.

The conference, sponsored by Amthor International, is free to attend, with charges for lodging, travel and sports events.

John Ratzenberger, known for his role as Cliff Claven on the “Cheers” television series, will serve as the event’s keynote speaker. Today, Ratzenberger owns the Foundation for America, which educates and prepares American workers, manufacturers and educators for an American manufacturing rebirth.

“John Ratzenberger is a perfect fit as keynote speaker for the first Global Tank Truck Conference,” says Brian Amthor, vice president of Amthor International. “His ‘Made in America’ philosophy, support of U.S. manufacturing and a strong work ethic are aligned with the culture of Amthor.”

The event will also feature educational workshops, networking opportunities, golf and an optional college football game outing. The workshops will focus on:

  • Navigating government regulations
  • Vehicle safety and rollovers
  • How to diversify your business in a changing economy
  • Paid, own and earn – how to be in the right place at the right time for the zero moment of truth

Amthor International manufactures truck-mounted tanks, which include uses for the propane, vacuum and septic, portable restroom, water, refined fuel, well drilling and construction industries.
