Hanbay Electric Actuators opens US office

Hanbay Electric Actuators added an office in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to provide assembly, sales and technical support for its products in the United States.

Hanbay, which launched in 1986 in Montreal, manufactures small actuators for a number of industries. The Virginia Beach office serves as Hanbay’s only office in the U.S. The company plans to begin assembly, programming and distribution of actuators out of its new office, according to Hanbay.

“The hope is to be better positioned to meet the U.S. customer’s needs,” says Mark Clifford, sales application engineer at Hanbay. “Our small streamline workforce allows Hanbay to be able to customize any unique requests a customer may have. We work hand-in-hand to iron out the details and then are positioned to mass produce a system that works.”

Hanbay also plans to continue to manufacture, program and test its actuators mated with valves at its factory in Montreal.
