Icom propane conversion system certified for Ford Transit

Icom North America LLC received Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approvals for its bi-fuel and dedicated propane autogas fuel systems on the 2015 Ford Transit with a 3.7-liter V6 engine.

The Michigan-based company says the dedicated and bi-fuel platforms with liquid injection propane systems and a variety of tank options focus on converting delivery, shuttle and work truck vehicles to autogas.

Icom says it plans to announce additional EPA certifications for its autogas fuel systems on key fleet platforms and technologies.
