Industrial history museum plans for propane exhibit

August 20, 2013 By

Construction of a propane exhibit at the National Museum of Industrial History (NMIH) in Bethlehem, Pa., is expected to begin this fall and finish in late 2014 or early 2015, according to an exhibit update from the museum. The plan and budget for the overall museum design has been presented for approval to the NMIH board of directors, and construction bids will be sought in early fall, the update notes. Overseeing the project are Ed Mooney of EM Design, designer for the exhibit; Steve Donches, president and CEO of the museum; Bob Nicholson, chairman of Eastern Propane Corp.; and Rita Pecilunas, president of Strategic Marketing Resources. The team held a brainstorming session for the industry during the Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo in April in Atlanta.
