IXL Propane owner dies

August 20, 2012 By

Robert Cox, the owner of IXL Propane in Molalla, Ore., died Aug. 14. He was 51.

Cox had been around the petroleum industry since he was a teenager. He started working at his dad’s service station and later served as a partner in a retail propane business, Don Cox Propane, with his dad. That business sold in 1995, and Cox turned his attention to developing IXL Propane.
