Kenworth of South Louisiana opens new branch

July 22, 2014 By

Kenworth Truck Company, manufacturer of heavy- and medium-duty trucks, says Kenworth of South Louisiana opened a new parts and service facility in Lake Charles, La., near U.S. Highway 90.

This location joins the four other facilities Kenworth of South Louisiana owns in Louisiana. They are in Carencro, Harahan, Houma and Port Allen.

“Lake Charles is the largest community in southwest Louisiana and this new location sits in the heart of the industrial area,” says Scott Oliphant, president of Kenworth of South Louisiana.

The Lake Charles facility is on 12 acres and includes two service bays. It provides warranty service support, features a parts delivery truck and employs three trained service technicians for the PACCAR MX-13 engine. Butch Benoit is the manager of this branch.

Kenworth of South Louisiana, Lake Charles, is part of the Kenworth dealer network of more than 345 locations in the United States and Canada.
