LP Gas celebrates fourth hall of fame event

April 10, 2015 By

Propane industry leaders and their families gathered for the fourth annual LP Gas Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner Friday in Atlanta. The event took place prior to the start of the Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo.

Several companies sponsored the event, including Suburban Propane, Ferrellgas, Blossman, Tarantin Industries, Eastern Propane and AmeriGas.

LP Gas inducted four men to the 2015 class:

Bertelsmeyer, Miller and Revere all attended the ceremony, accepting their respective honors and sharing memories of their illustrious propane careers. John Kean accepted on behalf of his brother, Stewart Kean, who died in 2002.

The 2015 hall of fame class brings the total number of inductees to 24. LP Gas established its hall of fame in 2012, propane’s centennial year, as a way to honor the legends, icons and leaders who helped to establish and advance the propane industry. Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2016 class here. View the hall of fame’s mission statement for additional information.
