Wireless backup camera designed to reduce accidents

Convoy Technologies launched a microsite dedicated to its TrailerCam portable, wireless backup camera and video monitoring system, designed to reduce accidents in situations where a truck must back into a tight area. The new site’s user-centric design provides quick and intuitive access to the system’s capabilities, components, applications, specifications, ordering process and pricing. The wireless TrailerCam system is composed of a ruggedized, portable wireless magnetic-mount camera/transmitter and a 7-inch LCD color monitor/receiver. The system features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and commercial-grade magnets to eliminate the time and expense of cable installation. Supplied with magnets, the camera can be attached or reattached to the vehicle’s back, sides, beam, roof and any ferrous surface.
