Mississippi health center converting fleet to autogas

October 9, 2012 By

Community Counseling Services, a mental health center that transports hundreds of patients each week across seven Mississippi counties, recently converted 17 of its 29 Ford E-350 vans to propane autogas. Fueling and conversions were facilitated through Alliance AutoGas under the Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program. The company’s remaining 12 vehicles are slated for conversion by the end of this year.

Community Counseling Services expects to save about $35,000 in fuel costs annually with the 17 autogas vans. When all of the fleetĀ¹s 29 vans are operating on autogas, the company expects to save more than $60,000 in fuel costs each year.
