Mobile app records tank monitoring data

WESROC designed a mobile app for personnel who interact with the company’s tank monitoring equipment and its wesroc.net online portal. The app makes on-site hardware setup easier and more accurate, according to the company. It also uses a mobile device’s camera to scan the monitoring hardware’s bar code so that it syncs to wesroc.net. It provides access to data on tank levels, history and temperatures. The app can capture GPS coordinates, which plot tank locations on the map viewed in wesroc.net. Users can also add priority locations and accounts to a “favorites” list for quick access, WESROC says. In addition, the app gives managers and office staff access to view up-to-date tank and asset statuses while away from the office.
