Multi-state tour to promote propane autogas

July 11, 2013 By

Blue Bird and Roush CleanTech embarked on a road tour Thursday to promote propane autogas and mark the delivery of the 434th and final propane-fueled bus to Student Transportation of America’s terminal in Omaha, Neb. The tour began Thursday at Blue Bird’s headquarters in Fort Valley, Ga., and is slated to end next Wednesday in Omaha. The bus will make multiple stops in Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri.

Communities along the tour route, from Georgia to Omaha, will have the opportunity to talk with Blue Bird and Roush representatives about the economic, safety and environmental benefits of propane school buses, says Phil Horlock, Blue Bird president and CEO.
