Nebraska schools to deploy 400 autogas buses

Student Transportation Inc. will provide more than 400 new propane-powered school buses to the Omaha and Millard public schools in Omaha, Neb., making it the nation’s largest propane-powered school bus fleet, the company announced. Blue Bird Corp. will manufacture the buses, equipped with Roush CleanTech liquid propane autogas fuel system technology. IC Bus, a division of Navistar, will supply additional vehicles to fulfill the contract.
