July 25, 2014 By

Oneok Partners LP plans to invest up to $470 million to construct a 200 million-cubic-feet-per-day natural gas processing plant and related infrastructure across two Oklahoma counties. Oneok’s new Knox plant will gather and process natural gas from the South Central Oklahoma Oil Province, according to a press release.

The company expects to complete construction of the plant and its related infrastructure, including expansions and upgrades to existing natural gas-gathering systems and compression, to be complete sometime during the fourth quarter in 2016. Oneok estimates it will invest between $175 million and $240 million for the plant’s construction, as well as up to $230 million for the construction of related natural gas.
