Propane Council of Texas launches public awareness campaign

March 13, 2013 By

The Propane Council of Texas launched a new campaign, Propane Autogas: Fueling Texas, to educate Texans about the benefits of running fleet vehicles and equipment on propane autogas. The campaign kicked off with Texas Propane Day, a ride and drive event at the Texas Capitol, and with the launch of its website, FuelingTexas.com, which includes news and educational resources. The campaign will feature a series of statewide autogas presentations and road shows for fleet operators, drivers and community members. Autogas-powered vehicle fleets in Texas include the Texas Department of Transportation – the state’s largest autogas fleet – and the Dallas, Houston and Austin independent school districts. The state has more than 700 autogas fueling stations.
