Propane engines showcased at Work Truck Show

Propane autogas engines from Powertrain Integration are on display at the 2015 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, where Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. is displaying an MT-45/55G chassis with a PI-GM 6.0-liter propane engine, along with the new box truck version of the S2G chassis with a PIthon 8.0-liter engine.

According to a press release, the Propane Education & Research Council‘s booth features an S2G chassis with a Signature Truck Systems “linebacker” service body. Another S2G chassis fitted with a bobtail propane delivery body was in the show’s Green Truck Ride and Drive event for show attendees to see the PIthon engine in action.
