May 3, 2017 By

Clark Material Handling Co. plans to launch the GTS25 forklift, which features Power Solutions International’s (PSI) 2.4-liter propane engine, in June. The four-cylinder premium engine incorporates design features that provide power, efficiency, durability, and noise and vibration advantages over competing models, according to PSI. These advantages also include peak power of 63 hp at 2,800 rpm and torque of 123.9 foot-pounds at 1,600 rpm. The GTS25 propane-powered model is part of Clark’s IC-Cushion forklift line, which targets distribution, manufacturing, warehousing and trucking applications. PSI has provided Clark with engines since 2009. The company’s 4.3-liter propane engines power Clark forklifts in the 4- to 7-ton class; its 3-liter propane engines power 2.5- to 3.5-ton forklifts; and its 2-liter and 2.4-liter propane engines power 2- to 3.3-ton forklifts.
