Roush CleanTech unveiled a propane autogas fueled shuttle bus converted by its newest industry partner, Green Alternative Systems, at the 2012 BusCon Expo this week in Chicago. Green Alternative Systems has partnered to provide installations for Roush CleanTech propane autogas fueling systems in the transit, paratransit and commercial ground transportation markets. Built on a Ford E-450 chassis with a 6.8-liter, V10 engine and a 41-gallon propane autogas fuel tank, the Roush CleanTech shuttle bus has completed the Federal Transit Administration’s New Model Bus Testing Program (Altoona Testing) and is certified for sale in all 50 states by the California Air Resources Board and Environmental Protection Agency.
