Star Gas Partners acquires assets from two retailers

August 10, 2017 By

Star Gas Partners L.P. acquired certain assets of two businesses, one located in Imlay City, Michigan, and the other in Plainview, New York.

These acquisitions will expand the company’s customer base and its geographic footprint, according to Star Gas. The Imlay City company has around 3,000 accounts and delivers 3.8 million gallons of propane annually. The Plainview company has about 16,800 accounts and an annual volume of 15.5 million gallons. Additional terms were not disclosed.

“We are very pleased to announce these latest additions to the Star Gas family,” says Steven J. Goldman, CEO of Star Gas Partners. “Both companies bring quality customers to the partnership, bolster our presence across key geographic regions and strengthen our offerings – particularly with regard to propane and motor fuel.”
