Suburban Propane realigns two senior leadership positions

August 5, 2015 By

Suburban Propane Partners LP realigned two senior leadership positions. Both changes take effect Sept. 27, which marks the beginning of the company’s next fiscal year.

Mark Wienberg, current COO, will fill the newly created chief development officer position. In Wienberg’s new position, he will be responsible for corporate development activities, such as seeking external growth and acquisitions.

Steven C. Boyd, current senior vice president of field operations, will fill the senior vice president of operations position. In Boyd’s new position, he will be responsible for overseeing all company operations.

Suburban acquired Inergy Propane three years ago. Michael Stivala, Suburban president and CEO, says Wienberg and Boyd helped with that acquisition.

“I have relied heavily on Wienberg and Boyd to drive the integration of [Inergy and Suburban],” Stivala says in a company press release. “As an organization, we accomplished a lot in a short period of time. With our integration efforts behind us, we are well positioned to increase our focus on the next phase of strategic growth – both internal and external.
