Superior Energy Systems’ electronic propane autogas dispensers have received Canadian Standards Association (CSA) listings per Underwriters Laboratories UL 495 and CAN1-12.4 standards, the company announced. The listings include approval of the dispensers’ mass flow meter technology. They also signify the units meet all National Fire Protection Association standards for approved propane autogas dispensers, the company adds.

According to Superior, its PRO-Vend 1000, PRO-Vend 2000, and the PRO-Vend 1500 and PRO-Vend 2500 dual-hose propane autogas dispensers can now be placed on fueling islands, alongside gasoline and diesel, in private fleet or centralized fueling locations in the United States and Canada.

“Superior Energy Systems is in a virtual state of research and development, working to meet all standards and make propane autogas easier to adopt in both private and centralized settings,” says Mike Walters, the company’s vice president of safety and training, in a press release.

Superior’s electronic propane autogas dispensers have also received National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) certification from the National Conference of Weights and Measures and are fully NTEP certified for every state in the U.S., the company adds.

In addition to the PRO-Vend electronic propane autogas dispensers, Superior manufactures mechanical dispensers, such as the PRO-Vend 3000 for stationary applications and the 3000P for portable applications.

Superior Energy Systems supplies propane infrastructure and services. For more than 40 years, the company has been building propane vaporizers and mixers, portable and permanent rail towers, metering and odorant skids, and propane autogas dispensers.
