ThompsonGas acquires propane marketer in Oregon

ThompsonGas acquired the assets of Propane Northwest, a propane retailer based in Portland, Oregon, marking the company’s first acquisition in the western United States.

Propane Northwest provides propane to residential, commercial and agricultural customers in parts of Oregon and Washington. Paul Bansen and Don Hutt, owners of Propane Northwest, founded the company in 1999 after working for 15 years at a major marketer in the propane industry, ThompsonGas adds.

ThompsonGas now serves more than 90,000 customers across the United States.
