ThompsonGas purchases Burkardt’s LP Gas

ThompsonGas acquired the assets of Burkardt’s LP Gas in Polo, Illinois, from Bill and Beverly Burkardt.

Burkardt’s LP Gas sold about 5.6 million gallons of propane in 2016 to more than 6,000 customers in Illinois. The company was featured on LP Gas’ Top 50 propane retailers list in 2017.

This transaction marks ThompsonGas’ first acquisition in Illinois, according to the company. As a result of this acquisition, ThompsonGas now serves more than 100,000 customers in 18 states.
