Irish-Jones

The Women in Propane Council (WIP) appointed Laurie Irish-Jones as its new chair and Brilynn Johnson as its new vice chair, effective June 8.

Irish-Jones works as the CEO of Irish Propane and Irish Carbonic in Buffalo, New York. She currently serves as WIP’s vice chair, and she will succeed Kelly Bosak in the position. Bosak of Ferrellgas is joining a Kansas City-based commercial development company.

As WIP’s new chair, Irish-Jones will assume responsibility for directing the council’s growth and programming while ensuring financial stability, according to WIP.

“I am honored and excited to lead the Women in Propane Council,” Irish-Jones says. “The commitment of the council’s leaders and volunteers to providing superior professional development opportunities makes our council special. I look forward to working with the leadership team to achieve future goals and write the next chapter in our five-year history.”

Johnson currently serves as WIP’s past chair on its programs and events committee, and she will succeed Irish-Jones as its vice chair. Johnson works as a regional sales and marketing director for the Western Region of AmeriGas.

“Laurie and Brilynn truly understand who we are as a business council and are a perfect fit to lead the organization going forward,” Bosak says. “I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for the council and its members, and [I] will miss the dynamic atmosphere.”
