World association’s name changes

The World LP Gas Association announced it would switch its name back to the World LPG Association in January. The association changed its name to the World LP Gas Association in 1998, but the association reported it realized more people used the term LPG compared to LP Gas.

The association’s general assembly also decided that it would rename its world forum to the World LPG Forum starting in 2015. It added that all references in its publications would switch to using the term LPG. The association will have a new corporate website URL (www.wlpga.org) in 2015 and new email addresses for staff (@wlpga.org).
