Crystal Flash acquires Kohley’s Superior Propane

Crystal Flash, an employee-owned energy distribution company, acquired Kohley’s Superior Propane.

The transaction, Crystal Flash says, is an effort to expand its footprint and capabilities along Michigan’s western lakeshore by adding 1,700 home heating customers. In addition, two members will join Crystal Flash through the acquisition.

Our shared heritage as proud independent propane retailers with a commitment to strong customer relations drove our decision. We look forward to having Kohley’s [Superior Propane] team join our employee-owned company and to serving its customers along the lakeshore.”

Kohley’s Superior Propane represents the 12th acquisition for Crystal Flash. The company’s 11 other acquisitions are Michigan-based companies.
