FuelFox, an on-site fuel-delivery service for individuals and fleets (also described as a mobile gas station), launched a mobile app for iOS and Android mobile devices, available only in the Birmingham, Alabama, area. Highly trained firefighters, identified as “ambassadors,” service members’ vehicles, the company says. In addition to filling up the vehicle, ambassadors clean front windshields, check tire treads, gauge tire pressure and notify the member of any potential issues with their vehicle. The addition of the app expands the operations from fleet services to individual memberships as well. Through the app, users become registered members and can easily schedule future tank fills at dedicated locations, the company says. These locations are fueled on a schedule on the same day and same time each week. Members receive reminder notifications.
