Special Fleet, Fascan build custom service trucks

Special Fleet Service and Fascan International engineered custom service trucks to support the delivery and placement of propane tanks to customers in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Four of the trucks are being used by Verona, Virginia-based Dixie Gas & Oil. The trucks, built on an aluminum propane and LP service body from M.H. Eby, make it possible to deliver and deploy more tanks per trip with greater ease. Two of the four vehicles use an F70B.0.22 articulating Fassi crane. The other two vehicles use an F110A.0.23 Fassi crane. Both cranes operate via radio remote control and are mounted to a Chevrolet 6500 HD chassis.
