Iowa Mold Tooling Co. Inc. adds new articulating cranes

September 28, 2017 By

Iowa Mold Tooling Co. Inc. (IMT) introduced four articulating crane models and made revisions to its articulating crane lineup.

New models include the 610, 710, 810 and 910, replacing the 5/33, 6/39 and 7/48 models in the IMT portfolio. These additions offer increased lifting capacitates in the 40,000 ft.-pound to 70,000 ft.-pound range. According to the company, improvements with increased lifting capacity on current radio-remote models were also made.

Also available is the electronic vehicle stability (EVS) system, an operator safety system that monitors crane stability. The EVS system integrates with rated capacity limiter, a safety component that monitors the crane’s load moment, operation and function. Additional new features include internal hose routing, the “j” stow hook and improved lift-to-weight ratio on all models.
