NPGA, PERC create Hurricane Harvey resource webpage

September 1, 2017 By

The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), working in conjunction with the Propane Education & Research Council, has created a webpage dedicated to resources for propane marketers and customers in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

The page includes the most recent hours-of-service waivers, local contact numbers for reentry and downloadable brochures for customers outlining key safety points, NPGA says. It also includes propane safety tips for before, during and after a hurricane. The page will be updated as new information comes in and as stories become available about the versatility and reliability of propane during disasters.

The page can be accessed by going to NPGA’s homepage and clicking on “Hurricane Harvey.” According to NPGA, this page will be used in the future to communicate information following natural disasters.
