Pinnacle Propane acquires assets of Coyote Fuels

Irving, Texas-based Pinnacle Propane LLC, a division of SHV Energy, purchased assets of Coyote Fuels LLC.

Coyote Fuels is a bulk propane retailer and distributor in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the South Eagle Ford basin.

“The transaction was smooth and beneficial for both parties,” says Kenneth M. Talley, president of Coyote Fuels. “Pinnacle did exactly as they indicated they would when the negotiations began and carried all of their promises through closing.”

Pinnacle Propane says the acquisition expands the company’s existing operations and distribution in Texas.

“We are very pleased with the Coyote Fuels acquisition,” says Stephen Rennie, CEO of Pinnacle Propane. “Coyote Fuels has many synergies with our existing business and we look forward to growing our business in southeast Texas. We’d also like to extend a warm welcome to Coyote personnel joining Pinnacle Propane.”
