Superior Fireplaces’ VRE4300 series fireplaces are vent-free and designed for outdoor use. According to the company, the series offers a contemporary look of stainless steel along with the ease of a ventless unit. The VRE4342 model, for example, features a stainless steel front face, top, bottom and firebox parts that provide weather resistance. It’s available in 36-inch and 42-inch models. A 50,000-Btu hidden burner delivers tall, dancing flames. A detailed charred oak log set imitates the natural look of real stacked wood, and a louverless design provides a good view of flames.
